This festival is celebrated with Lights and Diyas in Day of Amavasya or “No Moon Day”. Every year, Hindus festival diwali is celebration of light and celebrated in October and November Months.
In Ramayan, after killing the king Ravana (Demon) when Lord Ram (King of Ayodhya), his wife Sita and brother Laxman return his Kingdom after 14 years of exile. Whole kingdom Light up with Diyas and candles and people welcome his king Lord Ram.
On night of Diwali, every Hindu is performed Laxmi Pujan in the evening and done traditional pujan in their home, shop & office. In Diwali, people decorate their homes, office and shop with lights and Diyas.
They perpare sweets like Gonth ke Laddu, Sohan Papdi, Mawa Kachori, Jalebi, Piste ke Launji, Besan Barfi, Moti pak, Til ke Laddo (this is few names) etc.
